Description
Prof. Dr. Tatiana Palotta Minari holds a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition with an emphasis on Obesity and Metabolic Programming from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) (2013–2016). During her undergraduate studies, she served as a teaching assistant in Physiology and Histology at UNIFESP and actively participated in various research and outreach projects. She earned a Master’s degree in Psychology and Health with a focus on Eating Disorders from the Faculty of Medicine of São José do Rio Preto (FAMERP) (2017–2019). In parallel, she completed a postgraduate specialization in Nutrition and Sports Supplementation: From Biochemistry and Physiology to Clinical Practice at FAMERP (2017–2019). She holds a PhD in Health Sciences with an emphasis on Diabetes, Hypertension, Heart Disease, and Obesity from FAMERP (2020–2024). In 2025, she completed a postgraduate program in Neuroscience at UNIFESP (2024–2025). She is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in Health Sciences with a focus on Chrononutrition and Sleep at UNIFESP (2025–present) and also a voluntary Professor in the Postgraduate Program in Health Sciences at FAMERP (2025-present). She was a professor in the Nutrition program at Paulista University (UNIP) (2026). She is a member of the American Society for Nutrition (2023–present), European Society of Cardiology (2023–present), European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (2024–present), International Diabetes Federation (2024–present), British Pharmacological Society (2025–present), and the São Paulo State Society of Cardiology (2022–present). She regularly delivers lectures for FAMERP, UNIRP, UNIP, and the Health Department of São José do Rio Preto. She serves on the reviewer board of 184 high-impact international journals and holds the position of Academic Editor for 13 of them. She was awarded first place for oral and poster presentation at the International Diabetes Federation Congress 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand. Her professional experience spans clinical, sports, and behavioral nutrition, with expertise in obesity, diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, kidney disorders, neurological conditions, human behavior, eating disorders, supplementation, physical exercise, sleep, and chrononutrition. Before earning her Nutrition degree at UNIFESP, she studied Biological Sciences for two years at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) (2009–2010), followed by another two years at São Paulo State University (UNESP) (2011–2012).
