Her research interests include clinical nutrition, nutritional assessment, obesity and metabolic diseases, dietary patterns, gut microbiota, food insecurity, and enteral and parenteral nutrition. She has published research articles and book chapters in the fields of nutrition and dietetics, including clinical nutritional support and nutrition in critically ill patients.
