Description
I am a clinical nutritionist with over 25 years of experience in nutrition therapy, education, and research. My work bridges evidence-based nutrition practice with compassionate patient care and professional training.
I hold bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine and M.Sc. in Dietetics and Food Service Management and am UGC-NET certified. Internationally, I have earned the European ESPEN Diploma in Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (Poland) and serve as a Teacher to the Lifelong Learning (LLL) Programme of ESPEN, Vienna, Austria.
As the Founder of PNC – a state-of-the-art Clinical Nutrition Clinic in Surat, Gujarat, I specialize in the nutritional management of metabolic disorders, gastrointestinal diseases, critical illness, geriatric nutrition, and lifestyle diseases.
I am actively involved in professional education as an IGNOU counsellor, ESPEN teacher, and through my leadership roles in IAPEN India and NIMA. My commitment to continuous learning is reflected in multiple certifications — Certified Diabetes Educator, FODMAP Dietitian (Monash University, Australia), and Certified in Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology (GSI).
My research and academic contributions include national guideline development on dysphagia, a chapter in the IAPEN India Nutrition Care Process book, and multiple research publications. I have also received awards for best case presentations at IDA 2019 and the National GI Conference 2023.
