Dr. Bijoya Bhattacharjee is the Assistant Professor III and Head, Department of Dietetics and Applied Nutrition at Amity University Kolkata, with over 24 years of experience spanning clinical dietetics, academia, research, and nutrition education. She is also the Founder and Consultant Dietitian of Clinical Nutrition and Wellness Solutions (RB Diet Clinic & RB Wellness and Nutrition Academy) and serves as the Chief Program Officer of the IAPEN India Metabolic Syndrome and Nutrition Core Group.
A Ph.D. with expertise in hypertension and sarcopenia, Dr. Bhattacharjee is a UGC-NET qualified academic and a certified FODMAP Dietitian, Diabetes Educator, and Nutrigenomic Counselor. Her research focuses on hypertension, metabolic disorders, gut health, and evidence-based clinical nutrition. She has authored more than 28 publications in Scopus and Web of Science indexed journals, contributed book chapters, and received several prestigious national awards for excellence in clinical dietetics and nutrition education.
