Izabela Łasińska, MD, PhD, is a clinical oncology specialist and lecturer at the Poznan University of Medical Sciences. She earned her PhD with honors (2019) researching long non-coding RNA in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. She is a member of the Board of the Polish Head and Neck Cancer Society. An expert in her field, her training includes ECCO's Antwerp course under Prof. Jan Vermorken and the European School of Oncology program in Milan under Prof. Lisa Licitra. Since 2014, she has practiced at Poznan University Hospital. Her research covers therapeutics, prehabilitation, and post-resection quality of life. She leads an ongoing multicenter project with psychologists across Polish oncology centers focusing on body image and is the first to precisely describe vismodegib-induced taste disorders. Certified by BODYWORK, POLSPEN and ESPEN she actively integrates nutrition and medical training into her medical practice. She is an active author, conference speaker and student textbook co-author. Her scientific papers have gained over 300 citations on ResearchGate. She also partners with patient associations to produce informational guidelines for head and neck cancer patients.
